These beautiful, soft shawls are very traditional but incredibly practical! Three layers of fine cotton fabric are layered and edged with white trim. One corner has a pocket for the baby’s head and these are ideal for swaddling or as covers while breast feeding. They are also fabulous draped over a pram. Dimensions are 88 × 90 cm. Patterns vary but all are traditional patterns used for Nepali babies! These have all been sewn by the women who are learning tailoring skills to support themselves. They are part of our Didi Bahini Design Studio. Didi Bahini means Big sister/ Little sister. (Doll not included)
