Red Bean (Rato Simi) Necklace (Approx $80 US)
We are VERY excited about this necklace. This design, which was in production stage while a recent group of travellers visited, was almost the cause of a riot. Only one was available and three people wanted to buy it!! But that’s not whey we are excited! This is the first design that is TOTALLY the idea of the women. It is based on a beautifully red bean (like a large ADZUKI bean) with a bold black and white marking. The women worked hard to recreate the fabulous magenta/ red colour and combined it with tube beads and small black and white spotted beads to create a dramatic and wearable necklace. The necklace is 150cm long can be worn doubled or maybe even tripled. These necklaces look FABULOUS layered! (We do have earrings to match!!)
